Chris Price & Heather Wilson began writing and recording together in 1982. Within a year the project had evolved into a 6-piece rock band called Waxfactor. For the next six years the band would be regulars on the East Midlands pub rock circuit, at the same time touting demos around the record companies. Members came and went but Chris and Heather were the driving force who remained on-board throughout. After the band broke up they continued writing and recording together sporadically until life took them in different directions around 1992.
Out of touch for over 18 years, it was a chance email and phone call that started the ball rolling again. This time Waxfactor would be a recording venture with just the two of them and the album 'Unfinished Business' was planned. Distance meant that the songs would have to be created on-line, something they soon turned to an advantage...no schedules or travelling.
The album took the best part of a year to create and plans are already under way for a second.
Not forgetting former band members: Rob Marriott (with us all the way - thanks Rob)
